Town Council of Isle aux Morts

The Walter’s House museum – which was the first church and school in the Isle aux Morts community. Later, a small addition was built on to have a store attached to the house.

This house is well over 100 years old and is the last A-frame house structure in the community. The history of Isle aux Morts is portrayed in this home.

On occasion, you may witness homemade craft activities happening at The Walter’s House – or even have the opportunity to sample Newfoundland cuisine. Admission is by donation.
