How can museums generate more revenue without losing sight of why they exist? This session explores how revenue diversification can support, rather than compete with, mission. Using practical examples, a straightforward framework, and opportunities for conversation, we’ll look at how museums can create value that visitors, members, donors, and partners are eager to support. Participants will be encouraged to share their own successes, challenges, and creative ideas as we explore new revenue opportunities, strengthen financial resilience, and discover how financial sustainability and museum values can work hand in hand.
