Overview

The NL Collection includes circulating and non-circulating materials by local creators and with NL content located in NLPL branches throughout the province. The largest collections are held at the Provincial Resource Library in St. John’s.

This legacy collection includes books, periodicals, newspapers, maps, pamphlets and print ephemera, as well as sound and video recordings and historical photographs that represent the people, places and experiences of Newfoundland and Labrador, past and present.

By facilitating public access to these resources, NLPL fosters local creativity and supports the creation of new knowledge and understanding of Newfoundland and Labrador.
