Did you know that MANL members can borrow data loggers for a fixed period of time in order to monitor the environment in their facilities? Data loggers are essential in helping to determine regulatory environmental levels as well as give staff more knowledge into the effects the surrounding environment has on collections.
When borrowing data loggers, the institution is responsible for return shipping, but MANL will provide a comprehensive graph detailing the environmental readings on light intensity, temperature and relative humidity. MANL can also provide consultations with museums on how to regulate environmental controls. Please note that museums must replace any damaged or lost equipment.
Please note: the equipment is only availably to borrow to institutional members of MANL in good standing. To join MANL or renew your membership, please see: https://museumsnl.ca/membership/
To submit your request to borrow the equipment, please fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/tuvq1Go7C9ZqGMZk8
