Do you work for a small heritage organization and have no money? We feel your pain! Heritage NL, in collaboration with MANL, ANLA, and Conception Bay Museum, will be running a free workshop on “heritage on a budget” for small organizations, with a focus on small rural museums with limited space and limited resources. Come with your questions and meet our panel of experts for ideas and practical suggestions related to identifying your audience, setting up displays, small exhibits, mobile exhibits, programs that are easy for volunteers to run, and drawing people into your building.

Terra Barrett, Heritage NL & Mummers Festival – festivals, booklets, easy workshops;
Katie Crane, PhD Candidate, MUN Folklore – blogs, signage, trails, and wayfinding; and,
Victoria Mathews, Heritage NL – User friendly digital tools with little to no cost.
