We are pleased to share that the Museum Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (MANL) has received funding support from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation to assist MANL members in attending the 2026 Museums Canada Summit Museums: Rock Solid.
The Summit will take place April 19–21, 2026, in St. John’s.

This limited, one-time funding provides eligible MANL members who live outside the St. John’s area with:
- 50% discount on the full Summit delegate pass, and
- 50% discount on accommodations at the Sheraton Hotel, St. John’s (official conference hotel).
Eligibility Notes
- Must be a current MANL member
- Must reside outside the St. John’s area
- Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis
- Discounts apply only while funding remains available
Applicants from the St. John’s area may be approved on a case-by-case basis, subject to available funds. Applicants outside the St. John’s area will be given priority.
Please note that reimbursement will be issued only upon submission of receipts. All receipts must be submitted to MANL no later than February 27, 2026.
