The Museum Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is a charitable organization representing institutions and individuals interested in the preservation and promotion of the province’s material and cultural heritage. The Association was incorporated in 1980 under the leadership of a volunteer Board of Directors representative of the museum and heritage community in the province.

The NLQRI was established to facilitate the preservation and commemoration of the 2SLGBTQ+ histories of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Them Days is committed to storing and preserving the history of Labrador through archives, genealogy files, and publishing a quarterly magazine.
The museum exhibits the social, cultural, and natural history of the city of Corner Brook and Bay of Islands. Features include exhibits on the pulp and paper, fishery, and telecommunications industries native to the region.
