Memorial University Botanical Garden

The Garden’s 110 acre property offers 3.5km of nature trails, a large cultivated garden area with multiple themed gardens, a public greenhouse and an alpine house, special events, workshops, public art, camps, and so much more. The Garden’s natural areas, including a number of different ecosystems (fen, bog, boreal forest. pond, barrens) are an excellent resource for researchers, and the staff are pleased to welcome many research projects each year. As well, many students come to the Garden with their professors for some hands-on learning during their university coursework.
