The Museum’s collection focuses on North Atlantic aviation history as it pertains to Gander and Gander International Airport from the 1930’s to the present, with the bulk of artifacts, photos and text centering on the WWII years through the early jet age. Highlights of the collection include a 1940 Hudson Bomber (one of only eight left in the world), a 1959 CF-101 Voodoo Fighter Jet, a 1944 Canso Water Bomber, a 1952 Beech 18-S, a Tiger Moth bi-plane, a Link Trainer and several WWII aircraft engines. Also featured is a 1936 DC-3 cockpit, which visitors can enter from inside the building (currently restricted access only). There is also a large array of uniforms, crash site documentation, machine guns, and photos and text on display. The Museum also houses a small photo and documents archives which is available to researchers upon request.

Located on the Trans Canada Highway in Gander, between the Tourist Chalet and the James Paton Memorial Hospital.
